I contribute the occasional article to Aquila: a really good, fun and informative magazine that I discovered in my dentist’s waiting room a few years ago! It’s the sort of magazine I’d have devoured as a child, so I’m really pleased to be able to write for it myself.
I’ve got a piece on the Black Death in September’s issue. Having not long ago written a children’s book on the subject for Barrington Stoke, I had plenty of material to hand not to mention in my memory to resort to.
This issue’s focus is medieval times, with articles on jousting, heraldry and other stuff. Highly recommended!
