Scientific Discoveries

It’s a well-known fact that many great advances of science are made accidentally.

I now present to the world, and the scientific community for peer review, my discovery that a Parker fountain pen which is dropped in the bath (don’t ask) will continue to function perfectly well – albeit the ink will be a distinctly paler shade of blue – thereafter.

(Note to Nobel committee – my contact details can be found elsewhere on this blog.)

You use a Parker fountain pen! Old school!

Thank goodness it wasn’t your favorite quill pen that would have been a tragedy, and the feather would never regain that fluff it once had, did you do any experiments with a #2 pencil? Please tell me you aren’t going to try the laptop next!

    • I am currently designing a raft for my laptop using old washing up liquid bottles. I plan to commence the second phase of my research once I’ve got the green light from the Nobel committee.
