I’ve just discovered that my next non-fiction book is to be published in September. It’s about the last fatal duel in England in 1845 which took place on the outskirts of Portsmouth. The duellists were a marine called Hawkey and an ex-cavalryman called Seton who was chasing after his wife – or was the wife chasing after him? You won’t know till you read it!
I love historical research and thoroughly enjoyed digging up all the facts for this one. I’ve struggled to find a publisher for it but eventually Bookline and Thinker saved the day! (www.booklinethinker.com).
